A lot of actors and actresses, when they play a role it's still very clearly them. Gary Oldman is one of the only actors I know that looks different in every role he plays, and sometimes you go "Oh! That's Gary Oldman!" He deserves awards for just that alone.

The only reason Gary Oldman wasn't my favourite actor for a long time was because I simply didn't recognize him in 99% of the roles he played.
