Temple Of Buddha | 1 hr ambient fingerstyle guitar in Korean temple | James R. Thomas Hello family! Deep gratitude again for visiting another video: this is a reupload of a very special video from last year, now in an hour-long format for undisturbed meditation, peace and listening. This is a simple recording on a guitar that was very randomly gifted to me in a hostel in Seoul and travelled with me throughout South Korea and Japan. "In the Korean summer of 2024, I volunteered on a beautiful mountain farm in the Gyeongju region of South Korea. During this time, I became friends with a Buddhist monk who lived in a nearby temple, often visiting for tea. When I returned to the region for a second time, at the end of Autumn, I was offered to stay at the temple; also to help gather and chop wood for the winter season. I had not been playing much music for months, but the monk was kind enough to allow me to use the space to record an improvisational session at the end of my stay. Just one take and entirely self-recorded. Thank you and enjoy. 감사합니다."
