6 months ago I found out my biological mother is Lebanese, which makes me first generation (Half) Arab New Zealander. I'm 43, and it made so much sense. I was given up for adoption as she was a refugee. I've always been drawn to the Middle East and Levantine cultures - know I know why haha. My boyfriend is Egyptian, i'm going there in November, wish me luck everyone. The kiwi tongue struggles with Arabic lol.

Nice music, shame about the graphic showing the wrong instrument. Not a biggy it just bugs me because I used to play oud, which is fretless and has 11 or 12 strings in courses of two, depending on their origin...mine was 11 string which had 5 double string and 1 bass. The body is big, the neck short and the headstock faces backwards at an angle. No idea what that's meant to be, probably an AI appoximation of a modern style lute.
