Welcome back to Behind The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett & Jimmy Fallon. From Dragon's Den (Shark Tank).
This week on Behind The Diary, I'm taking you behind the scenes of one of the wildest moments of my life... the night I ended up on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. From last-minute chaos in New York, to facing the cameras in front of millions, this is the full story of what actually happened....
But you'll also see!
๐ The unexpected performance mindset trick that changed how I handle confidence.
๐ What Roger Federer taught me about letting go of failure
๐ How I manage fear in high-stakes, high-pressure moments
๐a raw moment about grief, friendship, and how we really show up for each other
๐I asked my team mate Will what he REALLY thought about me... he didn't hold back!
And SO much MORE!
Whether you're building a business, a brand, or a better version of yourself โ true confidence doesnโt come from never doubting, it comes from choosing to keep going anyway.

so much good info here:
1. Tell yourself good stuff to instill confidence in yourself (paddle example)
2. Let go of the last shot - Rodger Federer
3. First-thought advantage - Magnus Carleson
4. Invisible PR (man vs food example)
5. Leadership is different with every person

I love the fact that this channel is still quite small (for now lol) because it reminds me of the days when not as many people watched the podcast and I felt like I was getting some crazy life changing information that no one else knew about ๐คฃ

I really loved the part where you combined lessons from different guests and showed how they can be applied in real life. Most interviews focus only on the person being interviewed, but connecting insights across conversations makes it even more powerful.

What struck me in this conversation is how clearly it shows that confidence isnโt something people like Jimmy Fallon or Steven Bartlett simply โhave.โ Itโs a skill built in real time, under pressure, when self-doubt is loudest. And the insight from Roger Federer about letting go of failure is exactly what most people missโconfidence comes from your willingness to keep moving, knowing you're not invincible. This episode is a masterclass in what real self-trust looks like.โก

Steven is great, Iโm such a big fan, but honestly, you have no idea how much I appreciate the people who edit your videos, everything is so visual and easy to understand! Even the simplest theory has a completely different impact when itโs well explained. Iโm so grateful! Such a great team!!

I failed my neurosurgery fcps part 1 in july... The next one is in January, 2026. I just couldnโt let the july exam go out of my head. I tried videos, books and everytime i was looking for something, something that would help me to forget about july so that i can put my focus on January . i really needed that steven. Thank you for this video. You have earned a subscriber today.

You call it 'invisible PR', I call it 'social capital' in the LOVE bank โฅ

This is what i teach too in the mental health community. Confidence always comes from surviving failure, NOT success, and honing the ability to TOLERATE uncertainty, as we can never ever remove it.
