This reminds me of 40+ years ago being out in the Mojave desert. I believe it was 1976. My best friend and his family were going to Kansas for Christmas. I knew them very well for many years. We were going from the San Francisco Bay area all the way to Kansas for Christmas in a motorhome. I guess that’s what you call it. It was kind of a new thing a GMC model. It was about for stinking feet long and it looked like a big capsule. It was so cool. There was six or seven of us and we were so comfortable. his parents were so cool. We would all take turns driving because it was a long drive but when we left San Francisco and got to the Mojave desert, we chilled took our time and even though it was almost Christmas, the weather was not too bad. We would get a bunch of rocks and make a fire pit and all sit around in our folding chairs, drinking wine and beer and smoking some herb. Hey, we’re from California. What the heck families were pretty progressive back then. Ha ha ha it’s amazing the things your mind can conjure up that you pretty much put on the back shelf and forgot until you see the picture that is right here in front of you and you hear this type of musicand you are instantly transported to a different time and place. I feel so good right now. I am just getting high off of my memories.
