As an officer in a State Prison for years... I can honestly say this is crazy. We have to watch every second of the day for a case like that. No gaps, no breaks without another officer coming to replace you, not even if you have an emergency can you leave your post... and this guy is left alone? Cameras fail to capture video at that time? Missing count with a high profile inmate? This is so far into fiction it sounds too dumb to make it a B movie.
