European Union leaders on Saturday warned of a "dangerous downward spiral" over US President Donald Trump's vow to implement increasing tariffs on European allies until the US is allowed to buy Greenland. Ambassadors from the European Union's 27 countries will convene on Sunday for an emergency meeting to discuss their response to the tariff threat.

If it were about security, USA should be happy that Europe is sending troops to defend Greenland, not impose more tariffs. Clearly that was just a pretext for conquest.

Greenland is so strategic for the US that they have 150 troops at their only remaining base out of the 17 they had in the past. This "national security" lie is not better than the "narco shipments of Venezuela". Have you noticed no one is talking about narco shipments anymore, everyone talking about oil?
