If You Have THESE Jobs, You’ll Be REPLACED in 24 Months

The Diary Of A CEO Clips
Open in YouTube
Former Google X executive Mo Gawdat has a terrifying prediction for the future of work. He believes that within the next two years, AI will replace up to half of all jobs in specific industries, from developers and designers to assistants and marketers. Mo explains why the speed of AI’s growth will outpace governments, economies, and even our ability to adapt. He warns that the next 15 years will be marked by disruption, mass unemployment, and global instability, before we reach a new equilibrium. Discover: • The industries most at risk of losing 50% of their workforce to AI • Why AI progress will accelerate faster than previous technological revolutions • The social and economic consequences of rapid job displacement • How society might adapt to a world with fewer jobs • Why Mo believes the chaos will eventually give way to a better future 📺 Watch the full episode here - https://youtu.be/S9a1nLw70p0 ❤️ Subscribe to our main channel - www.youtube.com/TheDiaryOfACEO #thediaryofaceo #doac

Blue collar jobs will stay longer, but we won't suddenly need twice as many plumbers. If 20% of white collar workers entered blue collar work, there would be so much competition for plumbing jobs that their wages would drop to minimum wage very quickly.

Not having a purpose is really bad for humans. No one has asked why we have to go down this road.

Everyone is at risk. If Ai can’t replace your job, you will now compete with those who did lose their job.

The moment I realize a video I'M watching is AI, I switch off immediately. I can't stand the dumb thing.

Insane that a technology so power is in the hands of those most aligned with sociopathic ways of being all about the self self self

I said to my 18-year-old last week, you need to consider jobs that cannot be replaced by AI but when you talk to most people, they look at you like it’s some conspiracy theory or something that isn’t real and I think that’s part of the problem is they won’t see it coming

Just yesterday I was interviewed by AI and it was so soulless that I couldn’t finish it. Hung up the call after about 12min

It's crazy that people don't see a dystopia approaching. There's really no other destination when you mix the rich and powerful, AI and capitalism.

I love these shorter talks. Super insightful and I can actually fit this stuff into my day. 1+ hour talks are way more difficult to consume. Thanks for providing these!

I work in a major multinational insurance company. We have our own AI system based on GPT. I've been using it for a while, but only in recent weeks have I started to become concerned and feel redundant. I am very aware how powerful AI is, but to see it tear through work that takes me 2 hours in 2 seconds has been crazy recently.

It’s absolutely dystopian. Maybe humanity will adjust but our kids will likely have a significantly worse life than we have. That’s heartbreaking.

AI is the biggest threat to the human condition we face. I am so scared for my teenage children.

AI doesn't have to be able to replace your job, it just has to convince your boss it can replace your job.

The fact that AI is moving faster than our government and society is preparing is scary.
