There's a very good point didn't get mentioned in the video, that is China have 0 chance of recongnizing the statehood of Somaliland because supporting a so-called "break-away state" is direct contridiction of it's Taiwan policy. China would not get a port in Somaliland like they do in Djibouti.

Actually there’s one more president. Hayes in Paraguay. Most Americans have no idea about him. But he saved Paraguay and has a district there named after him.

This is one of the few things I support from Trump. Somaliland faced genocide from Somalia during the civil war a few decades ago. It is more functional than Somalia. It deserves independence.

Interesting. And, at this point, I think it's inevitable. Somaliland hasn't been integrated into Somalia since the Derg. And then, it was by force.
