Former restaurant guy here. The reason soda tastes better at some restaurants is because the owner can set the syrup and water ratio.

funny how you did not mention about the website.
that tiny QR code on top, when scanned,
takes you to a website, where you can pour from your phone.
just select it on your phone, hold to pour and the physical machine makes your drink.
this might seem even more private, but it is not. it is the exact opposite,
it is exactly what they try to make you think.
each log in to that website - your cookies, your IP address, your ISP,
your phone model, your IDENTITY is delivered together with your query for a drink.
this combined with a future camera system - fully trackable.
they now know who you are, they know what you like, who you love, where you live at.
with very basic analysis. a simple reverse search.
just imagine what this can become in the future. just try to think about that.
